Vitaly Petrov will be the first man to try out Renault's new R31 car when it tests for the first time in Valencia next week. The Russian is scheduled to drive on the opening day of F1's first pre-season test on February 1, before team-mate Robert Kubica takes over duties for the other two days. Renault is due to unveil its R31 in Valencia on January 31, with the car having been fired up for the first time in the team's Enstone factory on Monday
