Mazda Plans Lease Program for Electric 2 in Japan

Mazda is the latest manufacturer to announce plans to build an electric version of an existing gasoline car. The company will develop a prototype electric car based on the Demio (known as the Mazda 2 outside Japan), set to debut in spring 2012.
