West gets Speed Master MotoGP ride

Anthony West is set to return to the MotoGP field in 2012 with the Speed Master team's CRT bike. The 30-year-old Australian announced the deal via his social media accounts today. A long-time 250cc rider, West's victories in World Supersport racing earned him a call-up by the Kawasaki MotoGP team in mid-2007, as he replaced Olivier Jacque.
