Should I . . . ????

i am planing my build of the AMT 66 nova pro street. i was thinking on wiring the motor, opening the trunk, adding a racing fuel cell, and adding a roll cage. but i went into my local htown store yesterday. i was told that there is no clubs or shows in oklahoma that he has heard of. 

so should or do you think its ok to but that much work into a kit if im the only one to see it??????
