Quimera tests electric GT car

The first pictures a GT car that could point towards the future of motor racing have been released by the Spanish Quimera company. The AEGT was put through its first paces by World Touring Car Championship racer Pepe Oriola at the Motorland Aragon track in Spain, where the fully-electrically-powered car will be officially launched next month. The car is capable of producing a claimed maximum peak horsepower figure of 700bhp, giving it a top speed of over 180mph and a 0-62mph time of around 3.5 seconds
